I was like a kid in a candy store in the fabric store...

and here is what I bought......

This photo shows the two Clover Yo-Yo makers, the scissors and the small off-cuts. I saw a project somewhere that makes butterflies out of heart shaped yo-yo's, now I have to find it!!!

These are the pink fabrics:

These are the yellow fabrics:

These are the neutrals:

These are the other colours:

These are the flannels:

These are the fat quarter packs:

These are the individual fat quarters:

All in all I am a happy camper and can't wait to get started on my projects.

**Update, I have finished washing and ironing all that "bloody" fabric including all those sodding fat quarters (a piece of material generally 18" x 21"). The only good thing to come out of it all, is that I had a facial at the same time with the steam from the iron!!** (sorry about the language......I have a sodding headache as well now)

I have to run to the fabric store today and now I want more fabric for my quilt that will never get done. Can I ask..I have never done a quilt before and I really don't know what I'm doing but why did you wash the fabric before you did anything with it? Did I miss that step?

I love your fabrics - what great selections you got!!! I never prewash fabric (unless it's red) - so my quilts all come out of the dryer looking old and crinkly. I probably should but.....too lazy. Hope your headache is better.

Are you going to have time to blog after getting all that fabric?

Wooo Gill. And I'm sure you didn't spend much money!!!! ha ha.. (Even on sale, those things can get expensive. Right???).. NOW---I'll just wait to see pictures of the quilts and whatever else you make with those fabrics!!!!

We were supposed to get 1-2 inches of snow last night. It didn't happen. Just a few flakes this morning!!!! Am I surprised??? ha

Hugs,
Betsy

Never mind the headache, you must have had a ball at the fabric shop. All those bundles just make you want to sit down and start planning, Margaret

Look forward to seeing what you make with all of it!

Now I'm really glad to know that you cuss. :) Though I suspect that "bloody" and "sodding" don't turn the air anywhere near as blue as some of the things that escape from my lips!

:D

I'll stick to yarn. It only has to be handled at the end of the project with a little soap, water and depending on the project size, a few to hundreds of pins.

What a lot of great stuff. I had a lovely time choosing fabric on that site but then I discovered the postage costs and had to give up.

Their fabrics are so reasonable compared to the UK. I can't find much under £8 a metre/yard online or in the couple of shops in our area. If I ever go to Canada I'll bring few clothes and take a trip to the shop!
